Hello everyone, I would like to tell you a little of who I am, and the story of how the idea of this blog has started.

My name is Jessica, I am originally from Caracas, Venezuela and at the moment I’m traveling around the world, until my bank account is empty.

I left my country at 17 for England, where I began to learn English. After a couple of years, I wanted to learn German and I decided to go to Switzerland. In fact, this isn’t the best country to learn that language, as the people speak “Schwiizerdütsch” – which is a quite complicated dialect.

After a few years and boring routine, I came up with the brilliant idea to travel around the world. Probably the same idea you already came up with once, right?
Together with my loved boyfriend, we decided to leave everything in Switzerland, job, car, house, friends and a secure life and left for Tarifa, Spain.

Kitesurfing delighted me right from the beginning. Seeing how free you could be, riding in the nature, driven by wild wind, making those extraordinary jumps and all these different colors dancing in the sky. This convinced me to take my first kite lesson and I have no regrets.

Now it is not only travelling. When we decide to continue with our journey, we choose our destinations also based on wind forecasts. Our new goal is to discover all the kitespots around the world.

With this idea in mind, I started to write this blog. Here I would like to share my experiences of the kitespots I have visited. I will try to cover every detail of these places like accommodations, restaurants, kiteschools, kiteshops and nightlife. Hopefully it will make your life easier when you decide to visit one of those kitespots.

Although my native language is Spanish, I write in English and German too, so all of you can enjoy my blog. Sorry for any mistake and thanks for letting me know 🙂
As mentioned above we are travelling and only carry the essentials like kites and clothes. There is no space for a big camera. All the photos are taken by me with my mobile phone and I know I’m not (yet) the best photographer on earth. I hope you don’t mind.

I’m looking forward for your feedback, shares, likes and comments.

A warm greeting from somewhere.
